ABOUT

Toree, along with her husband, Kurt, moved to Medford, Oregon in 1981. Kurt had just graduated from Illinois College of Optometry. Together they bought a small Optometric practice where they worked jointly growing the business. To accommodate the booming practice, they designed and built a new office in 1990. Toree “retired” in 1993 to raise their two daughters.

In 2000, Toree and Kurt started a non-profit called AmigoVision and have traveled the world with teams to give sight to over 30,000 patients. She was presented with Rotary International’s Spouse/Partner Service Above Self Award in 2013. A year later Toree joined Bear Creek Valley Rotary. She was her club’s president in 2018. The club was recognized as “Best Small Club”, and Toree, “Best Small Club President” that year.

When Toree is not traveling, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, remodeling rental houses, decorating, adventure sports and shopping!!
Toree began volunteering with Rogue Powerpack in 2013, when Rotary became involved at Phoenix Elementary school, helping feed hungry kids.
